Frequently Asked Questions

Privacy & Security
Will my information be shared with third parties?
Fynanz will not share or distribute your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We only share the information about you that is necessary and required to complete the loan listing process, make payments, and transfer funds. Review our privacy policy.
Will borrowers and lenders see each others’ identity information?
Lenders will only be able to see the FACS Grade and profile information in the borrowers' loan listings. However, neither party will have access to personal names or contact information about each other.
How is my financial information protected?
Our servers are equipped with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificate technology, which will encrypt the user's entire online session. Automatic sign out occurs after a period of inactivity. All banking information and social security numbers are stored in a secure off site data center. All users must pass through our secure verification systems to prevent identity theft.
How does identity verification work?
All borrowers must have a valid driver license or a social security number. This information is used to obtain non-credit based questions from an identity verification agency. The user is then asked a series of questions that must be answered correctly. Since these questions are not based on a person’s credit history, getting a hold of another person’s credit report will not be sufficient to pass our identity verification test. Those who violate Fynanz’s security and privacy protections are subject to disciplinary action, including prosecution. Consult our privacy policy for details on how Fynanz protects your information.
