A loan listing should provide potential lenders a more complete and better understanding of who a person and a student is, not only as a borrower. Borrowers should upload a maximum of 3 photos in a school setting, with friends, or at an event with a volunteer organization. Pictures should provide borrowers the ability to relate to borrowers and their educational experiences. Borrowers should consider using school logos or mascots, awards, certificates, or other appropriate images. To create an effective listing, a borrower should provide a brief personal description and a statement of “missions or goals” while in school. Help lenders to understand the importance of your education. Never reveal any personal information which would jeopardize anonymity. A good description will include:

• Area of study/major
• Organized sports
• Extracurricular activities (interests, clubs, organizations, hobbies, etc.)
• Interesting travel or experiences
• Reason for needing loan, use of loan proceeds
